Details About the Team’s Experience

The programmers and testers of ArBa have an extensive knowledge of software, hardware, and firmware production and testing including C, C++, Java, Apple, Swift, Nodejs, HTML, and Open CV coding.

They also have expertise with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS as well as USB, Ethernet, BLE, and WiFi hardware integration. This includes everything from software integration and firmware development to stack arrangement on USB devices and schematics creation.

Projects so far have included extensive API development from the ground up for iOS, Android, and Blackberry, hardware and software configuration and development of the MEEM Cable, cloud integration, motion tracking software creation, data encryption, GDPR solutions, and WiFi hardware integration.

Key Staff

Kelly Sumner - Founder of ArBa

Kelly has over 40 years experience in hardware and software engineering, starting out as a trainee electronics engineer at Commodore in 1979, and ending up as CEO of Take Two Interactive (Producing Grand Theft Auto), and Redoctane (Producing Guitar Hero). Kelly was also the Chairman of Mediatonic (the UKs leading mobile gaming company).

Arun Anandhakrishnan – Director of Software Engineering

Arun has 22 years of experience in software product development acting as technical director, manager and mentor. His experience spans from real-time embedded systems and desktop applications to mobile applications and web services. His core technical skills are in Linux/RTOS kernels, device drivers, security standards, multimedia technologies, networking protocol stacks, Windows & Linux desktop application development, web technologies such as NodeJS, Loopback, React, Angular CLI and mobile application development in Android and iOS.

Starting his career as a software developer, he now has over 18 years of experience in handling the complete life cycle of product development with geographically separated engineering, marketing and customer support teams across the globe.

Barath Vasudevan – Director of Systems Engineering

Barath is a software professional with a track record of creating products and solutions in Multimedia and Memory. He is a problem solver with a demonstrated history of taking ownership of the complete life-cycle of the product, from design to manufacturing, post-production, and customer support. Experience includes working with numerous products including IP network cameras, Miracast based streaming devices, BLE/Sensor devices and USB based storage/charging devices.

He has 10 years of experience in embedded software development with domain knowledge in embedded systems programming, networking, Linux and RTOS coupled with experience in developing cloud-based software products with REST architecture. He has run a design centre with a team of 30 members.

Additionally, he has identified and worked closely with Electronic Manufacturing service vendors, based in China, to deliver products focused on Consumer Electronics.

David Knox - Chief Operating Officer

David has 30 years commercial experience in the interactive entertainment industry. He was one of the founding employees at Electronics Arts (EA) Europe, one of the world’s leading software publishers, rising to a senior executive position of the $1bn revenue business. His focus was sales moving to business planning with extensive involvement with the development teams.
